Canadian-born singer-songwriter Skye Alexander is grounded in the traditional music of the British Isles and North America. Listeners have compared her to Linda Ronstadt, Gillian Welch, and Aoife O’Donovan. Skye’s expressive voice evokes the ballad singers of a bygone era, while her poetic lyrics and Americana-inspired melodies capture modern stories about loss, abuse, and heartbreak. She has performed at the Phoenix St. Patrick’s Day Faire, the El Cerrito Free Folk Festival, and the Bay Celtic Festival, and enjoys playing at cafes and intimate venues.
